Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!

This year we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting the unique chefs at Oracle Redwood Shores and sharing their family recipes!

From 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on October 2 in Café 500, we will be serving Chef Alyssa’s Salvadoran pupusas and tres leches cake. With her dad’s guidance, Alyssa has taught herself how to make these delicious treats to carry on her family tradition. It reminds her of serving them in the church and neighborhood where there is community and family.

Alyssa Panameno is a new member of the staff. She has been experimenting with new dishes in the kitchen and is ready to share with our campus!

From 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on October 3 in Café 300, we will be serving Pescado a la Veracruzana. A recipe from Chef Eloy’s hometown in Veracruz, Mexico where it is a signature dish of the state. It combines ingredients and cooking methods from Spain and Mexico. Pescado a la Veracruzana reminds him of home, whether it be an everyday meal, a party with family & friends, or staring at the sea.

Chef Eloy has been a chef on our campus for many years and is excited to feature this menu item.
